I’m always impressed by the boutiques in the greater Palm Beach area. Between Lola Chiq, Sequin, A Squared and vintage shops on the island of Palm Beach, sometimes I wish I lived closer to the area so I could spend more time shopping there.
Blessed Boutique is another gem on my long list of favorites, and the latest to give me that Palm Beach envy. This one is owned by two young, stylish friends who switched careers last year to follow their dream of opening a boutique.

Co-owner Samia Lansat is just gorgeous and a doll. I’ve photographed lots of people for the magazine and she was one of the easiest to take a picture of – a natural in front of the camera and not fussy at all. Super stylish, fun and down to earth.
Samia spent seven years in banking and finance before co-opening the store last October. Now she spends her days at the shop, styling clients for parties, dates, work and casual days. “I’m doing what I was created for,” she says.
What she was created for? Knowing her clients by name. Styling them, shopping for them. Even having pieces designed for them. Samia and co-owner Melodie keep a client book with profiles of their customers, keeping track of things like whether they like button-downs, tunics or knits, or if they prefer straight-legged or flared jeans.

The store is clean and gorgeously laid out. I love those little off-white studded foot stools in the corners.
The store is the first Alicia Bell signature shop, offering customers a wide array of clothing from the whimsical, feminine brand. The boutique also carries high-end colored denim, nautical apparel, prints, fun accessories, and the cutest line of cards/stationary I’ve seen in awhile.

I can’t get enough of white and colored denim lately, and Samia tells me this DL1961 denim is the best you’ll ever own. Plus, the store offers complimentary hemming so if the jeans are too short, no problem.
The Blessed Boutique experience is highly customized. Samia and Melodie call customers when they see a piece that might suit them. They also look for designers who can work with the store to create one-of-a-kind pieces for specific clients. Out of the Blue jewelry designer Jennifer Makely, for instance, accepts requests from Blessed and has custom-made things, like crocheted bow earrings with crystals for a client of the store.
